The Science Behind Better Shot Making with Dancin' Dogg

Creating Your Shot
Each hole has been programmed so you can choose to select any area of the playing surface to place your ball. Once you've done that, the sensor logic programmed into each hole, allow you to select a point on the playing surface where you want to be able to 'shape' your shot towards. Then, just before you get set to actually take the shot - you decide on an initial aiming point. You can do this on any of the holes, on any of the courses within the EA Tiger Woods PGATour Game.

The Optical Swing Pad
The Dancin' Dogg optical swing pad contains multiple sensors that, at a rate of one frame for every 500 nano seconds, detect the movement of your iron as it approaches the ball as well as its movement after the ball has been struck. You can strike the ball directly off the pad or use the rubber tee.

Interpreting the Data
The information gathered is instantaneously transmitted through the USB Cable to the software you've uploaded into your PC. The software calculates club head speed, clubface angle, club path, ball flight path, carry distance and distance off line.

Shot Shaper Simulator
On your PC or optional big screen monitor you will see the actual flight path and distance of the ball you've struck. Based on your swing path, clubface turn and angle at impact, swing speed and other factors you'll see at what point (if any) your ball began to take it's turn as well as the severity of the turn.

Dancin' Dogg Dashboard
The 'dashboard' is the panel that shows you your clubface angle at impact, swing speed and other factors that contributed to the distance, direction and flight path of your ball.

Get to Know Your Dancin' Dogg Better
Put a ball on the tee or directly on the optical swing pad. Take a shot. Get used to the area in which you're using Dancin' Dogg. Familiarize yourself with the software, screen shots, readings and so forth.

Got the Hang Of It? Lets Move On.
Take the cursor and select a spot on the screen where you want to place the ball. Unlike other simulators, you don't always have to hit from the tee box. Next, find an area on the course where you'd like the ball to land. Go nuts. Try some bizarre massive cut shot. What the heck? Next, select an aiming point - the direction you want the ball to travel first.

Tee it Up (or not) and Hit It!
Put the Dancin' Dogg ball directly on the optical swing pad (or tee it up), select a club and give it a go! After you've hit the ball take a look at the screen. It will show you the shape or flight path of the ball, the speed of your swing, the angle of the clubface and the distance the ball carried.

Now, Do It Again!
Please don't tell us you hit it perfect the first time. You did? Lucky you. Try it again anyway. Keep practicing until you've gotten to the point where you're making the shot more and with more confidence.

Pat yourself on the back.
The ball is going where you want it to go almost every time? Congratulations, you're a shot maker. Now, using the EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour game included with your Dancin' Dogg Shot Making Simulator - take your new skills to the greatest courses in the world.

Practicing in Places Where You Can't Swing
On the road, in a hotel room, plane or somewhere else where swinging a club is out of the question? No problem. You can still create shot making scenarios by programming in 'what if' scenarios regarding club, swing speed and club face angle at impact.

Discover The 10 Lost Lessons Of Stewart “Kiltie” Maiden FREE from Dancin' Dogg!

The 10 lost shot-making lessons from “The First Doctor of Golf”

Dear Golfer,

Have you ever hit a perfect drive? What a feeling that is when it happens. You stand back and gaze in satisfaction as your ball begins its flight, soaring up on a trajectory like a gulfstream G-5 until it begins its gentle descent finally landing in the center of the fairway some 250 to 300 yards away setting up a short iron shot to the green. Your buddies grunt with approval offering you an outstretched fist as you walk off the tee box.

No matter how many times that happens to you, the experience never gets old, never gets tiring and ALWAYS keeps you coming back to the course.

One word describes what usually happens after that drive: INCONSISTANCY

If you’re like most other golfers then you have walked down that fairway after that incredible drive pausing occasionally for your partners to hit their shots, all the while planning in your head how you are going to put your second shot tight with the pin. Only to take your swing and feel your club head clip the top of your ball and watch as it dribbles down the fairway ….. wasting that perfect drive. ARRRUGGG!!!

... Even Bobby Jones Needed a Coach.

Every Great Golfer has a teacher / coach / mentor and The Great Bobby Jones was no exception.

Bobby Jones left a permanent mark on the game of golf as one of the greatest armatures to ever pick up a set of clubs and match skills with the best of his day.

His smooth, controlled and powerful swing are still talked about today and reverence is paid to him by the greatest players of all time including Jack Nicholas, Arnold Palmer & Tiger Woods.

The most remarkable thing about Bobby Jones is that he was a lot like the rest of us. He only played golf a few months a year and spent the rest of his time on other pursuits.

In 1930 Jones was the first to complete the Grand Slam, winning the British Open, the British Amateur, the U.S. Amateur, and the U.S. Open Championship.

Want to know what Bobby Jones learned
from HIS personal coach?

Some of the greatest lessons that we can learn are from the past. And every once in a while a lost gem of wisdom in found and brought to back to the benefit of new generations.

If you ever dreamed that you could play golf like the great Bobby Jones, now is your chance to learn from his personal coach.
